Our aim at Savanna is to ensure that each and everyone of our guests enjoys the most memorable, fulfilling and safe wildlife experience possible. To this end we have assembled what we believe to be the best, most experienced, most thoroughly trained team of Game Rangers and Trackers of any Game Reserve in Africa.

     Under the leadership of Paddy Hagelthorn who with over 25 years of experience is a living legend of the African bush we have Neil Whyte, Shaune Smith, Patrick Mkansi, James Ndlovu, Nordick Ragom, Lawrence Masuku and Julius Sibuyi.

     Neil is 33 years old was born in Skukuza in the Kruger National Park. He has spent his whole life in this area and has an incredible knowledge of the wildlife, flora and fauna and birdlife.

     Shaune is 39 years old and has had 7 years experience as a Game Ranger. Aside from his vast knowledge of African wildlife Shaune is an accomplished ultra marathon runner who has completed 11 Comrades marathons.

     Patrick Mkansi is 43 years old and comes from the nearby village of Mabarula. Patrick is one of Savanna's greatest success stories. After 9 years as a Tracker Patrick is now a fully fledged Ranger and has been receiving wonderful feedback from his guests. Patrick is a delightful man with a great sense of humour and amazing knowledge of the the bush and wildlife in general.

     Our Trackers James, Nordic, Lawrence and Julius were all born in this area. They have a lifetime of knowledge of the African bush and have all undergone extensive training
