Airlink offers daily scheduled flights into Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, (situated near White River), from Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban. The road transfer is only 1hr15min to the Lodge. Savanna Lodge supports Airlink.

These transfers are outsourced and are therefore non-commissionable.

CHILDREN

We regret that we do not accommodate children under the age of 8 years, unless the whole camp is booked. Children 11 years and younger sharing with an adult pay 50% of the full rate. Children of any age may be accommodated in the Savanna Suite if it is sold as one unit.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

Travel Documents such as Passports and Visas to enter the Country, are the responsibility of the individual guest.

NON SMOKING POLICY

In the interest of health and safety Savanna observes a strict non smoking policy. Smoking is not allowed in the Suites or on Game Drives and is only permitted in designated smoking areas in the Lodge and at Drinks breaks during the Game Drives. ARRIVAL / DEPARTURE

Guests may arrive any time from noon, and the rooms are to be vacated by 11h00. Please note that the Game Drive departs at 16h00 in Summer and 15h30 in Winter. CANCELLATION POLICY

Three weeks before arrival - 50% of full amount
Two weeks before arrival - 75% of full amount
One week or less - 100% of full amount

MEDICAL

An emergency medical service is available
Since Malaria is present in the Mpumalanga region where Savanna is situated, it is essential to ensure that anti - malarial precautions be taken throughout the year. IMPORTANT: SOUTH AFRICA IMMIGRATION REQUIREMENTS

South Africa passport control has become very strict to the point of deporting a number of guests due to their passports not complying with the control requirements. Passports MUST be valid for at least six months from the guests' return home date. We recommend a validity of nine months to prevent any problems in this regard. There must be at least three blank VISA pages in the passport (not endorsement pages). Guests have been refused entry due to not having sufficient Visa pages in their passports.
